Blind Tasting Workshop

From the shores of Issyk-Kul in the north, across Kyrgyzstan and into the Pamir Mountains of the south, towards Traveller’s Pass beneath Lenin Peak, on the edge of the Tajik border.

Last march I explored the Oaxacan coasts. Surfed in La Punta, swam in the lagunas of Chacahua witnessing the bioluminescence phenomenon. Visited mezcal producers with @s.efey

For days we had no signal, slept in conditions that were far from comfortable, and spent our days crossing valleys on horseback with nothing around us but mountains. We were welcomed into the homes & yurts of the Kyrgyz families pictured here, whose generosity and warmth truly inspired me; in a world that constantly teaches us to accumulate and keep things for ourselves, our greatest wealth lies in sharing, kindness and the simple truth that we are far more alike than we are different Stripped of convenience, hygiene, and constant connection, I felt more present, grounded, and alive than I have in a very long time. Kyrgyzstan became one of the most humbling and influential trips I have taken in a while <33
